The gallery Agama present, from June 21th to August 4th 2018, colorful work of toggles artist Camille Tété Azankpo.
Artist borned in Lomé, Togo, in 1968, he begins some exhibition in 1997 in Agoè’s hills, near from Lomé, where he presented an installation called the scarecrows of the fields. His works is like artistic’s couture: enamelled basins and advertisement signage are bought, cutted, decomposed and assembled in some colored and balanced creations. His production is a testimony of his culture and history but also a reflection of our cultural globalization. Prolific’s artist, he is celebrated in West Africa where he participated at several exhibitions (personnal and collective) and presented his work in Europe since 2001, in France, Holland and Germany.
