Panther mask used in festive ritual ceremonies, a kind of popular carnival linked to the rhythm of the agricultural seasons. This mask is called waraba or kore dyara. It has an acrylic polychromy. It’s presenting a good age, with a rather fine sculpture and a good patina of use.
