Yoruba’s statue, wood, copper, pearls and nice patina.

Masculine statue from twins cult called ibeji from Yoruba people of Nigeria. This statue was carved after the death of one or two new childs, as a memory’s artefact. In Yoruba culture, birth of twins is sacred. This piece has a nice patina, its aesthetic style is from Oyo’s area maybe from Oshogbo.
